Women: Bicycle Barometers

Nice back pack.

A recent article in the Toronto Star notes that women are excellent barometers (“it’s pronounced thermometer“) for cycling safety, as fewer women ride in urban centres without adequate infrastructure.  Apparently, women prefer wide and separate bike lanes to riding along with traffic.  But really, who doesn’t?  Sure, there’s the rush of duking it out with cars, but nothing beats the feeling of whizzing along in a dedicated route.

Bike paths for everyone! Safer streets would be nice, too.
